Française des Jeux (lottery)

La Française des Jeux (short FdJ ) is the national lottery company in France. With a turnover of 8.553 billion Euros (2004) it is the fifth largest organizer of lotteries in the world. There are a total of over 40,000 points of sale, on average, take 29 million players in the draws in part, the game system is "6 out of 49 ". FdJ also participates in the European lottery Euro Millions.

FdJ also operates all sports betting in France, with the exception of horse racing, which fall within the competence of the private company PMU.
