France Inter is a nationally broadcasted radio program of Radio France.

History

France Inter emerged from the French radio program first single. In 1963 the program was renamed in France 1, 1964 it received its present name. The station brings mainly news, talk shows and music and is currently on the market shares in France behind RTL and NRJ in 3rd place

Reception

France Inter is broadcast throughout France, and in the overseas departments, via VHF. In addition, the program can be received via Internet, satellite (DVB- S on Astra) and the longwave transmitter on 162 kHz Allouis across Europe and the world. The programs of RFO in the French overseas departments take on the news of France Inter and France Info.
