Frances Bay

Frances Goffman Bay ( born January 23, 1919 in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada; † 15 September 2011 in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California ) was a Canadian-born and living in the United States character actress who older by presenting quirky ladies was known in film and television.

Frances Bay grew up in Dauphin, Manitoba. Her younger brother was the renowned sociologist Erving Goffman. Before the Second World War she was acting professionally in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
