Frances Fisher

Frances Fisher ( born May 11, 1952 in Milford -on-the -Sea, Hampshire ) is a British-American stage and film actress. Her most famous roles of Ruth DeWitt Bukater - heard in the hit movie Titanic.

Life and career

Her father worked on the construction of oil refineries, so that she was forced at a young age, often to move. On average, they moved again to a year until she was in 7th grade. After her family remained in Orange, Texas. With the acting, she started on Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia. Fisher studied with Stella Adler.

There were also appearances in popular plays such as 1984 by George Orwell and The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo.
