Francesco Baiano

Francesco Baiano ( born February 24, 1968 in Naples) is an Italian football player.

He is a striker who knew to please at the height of his career, in particular by an excellent shooting technique.

Career

Baiano began his career in 1985 in his hometown at Napoli. In the early years of his professional career, he joined the clubs more often. He also played for Empoli, Parma, Avellino and Foggia, before joining Fiorentina in 1992. In Florence he played until 1997 and has been there ( with Batistuta ) on one of the best attack formations of the Italian league this time. By winning the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana, he scored there also the greatest successes of his career. In total he completed for Fiorentina in five seasons 108 games and scored 25 goals in it. In 1997 he went to the English club Derby County, already in the 1999/2000 season but he returned to Italy. There he played but not top notch, but with Ternana, Pistoiese and Sangiovannese in the leagues B to C1, currently in the 2007/2008 season with Sangiovannese in Serie C1.
