Francesco Lodi

Francesco Lodi ( born March 23, 1984 in Naples, Italy ) is an Italian footballer who currently plays for Genoa.

Career

Lodi came through the youth of the FC Empoli to professional football. Since 2000 he was a member of the senior squad Empoli, but was rarely used until 2004, so he played the second half of the 2003/04 season on loan to Vicenza Calcio. After his return to Empoli Lodi works out a regular place and was an integral part of the team for two seasons. Nevertheless, he was awarded from 2006 to 2008 in Frosinone Calcio, where he was able to achieve 31 goals in 82 games. The season 2008/ 09 he was playing for Empoli and belonged to the tribe of the team again. He was then hired by the first division club Udinese Calcio, but this did not take him after the season. So moved Lodi in 2010 to its former station Frosinone Calcio, which he, however, left after only half a year at Catania to play. There Lodi became the undisputed leading player and was able to achieve in two and a half Serie A - Saions 18 goals in 86 games. Despite this good performance, he left Catania in the summer of 2013 and moved to Genoa.

Lodi held several junior national teams of Italy, but was never nominated for the A- team.
