Franches-Montagnes District

The district of Freiberg Mountains (French District of Franches- Montagnes ) is a district in the canton of Jura. It covers large parts of the region of Freiberg Mountains and the southern portion of the Clos du Doubs. Capital is Saignelégier. 1 January 2009 was assigned to the District Porrentruy with the formation of the fusion community Clos du Doubs, the territory of the former municipalities Epiquerez and Epauvillers.
