Francine Shapiro

Francine Shapiro ( born February 18, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American literary scholar, psychologist and founder of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ). This psychotherapeutic process is now recognized worldwide for the treatment of trauma and anxiety.
