Francis Forcer the Elder

Francis Forcer the Elder (c. 1650 in London, † around 1704 ) was an English musician and composer.

About his life is only known that he part owner of a mineral spring in London was in 1697 ( Sadler 's Wells ) and staged concerts there. One hundred years later there arose the famous Sadler 's Wells Theatre.

For the concerts at Sadler 's Wells, he wrote popular music, but which is not known. Get some instrumental works, including pieces for organ, and vocal music.
