Francis Laurent

Francis Laurent ( born January 6, 1986 in Paris ) is a French football player.

Career

In 2006, Laurent joined from FC Sochaux to Eintracht Trier, who were relegated from the Regionalliga Süd and wanted to create the re-emergence from the Oberliga West in the Regional. This failed ( the Trier finished fourth ), so that Laurent left the club and the first FSV Mainz joined at the age of 21 years 05. He came in the first half of the season 2007/ 08 six times as a substitute in the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga for use. In the Erstrundenbegegnung in the DFB Cup against Wormatia Worms he scored in a 6-1 win in Mainz a hit.

In 2008 he moved to two years in Germany to England to Southend United, where he wrote initially for one year. After good performances he extended his contract in December to two years. 2010 Laurent was, however, already in his native France for amateur club AFC Compiègne. In January 2011, Laurent has signed a contract with Northampton Town in the League Two fourth-rate.
