Francis O'Brien

Francis O'Brien ( born April 7, 1943) is an Irish politician ( Fianna Fáil ) and farmer.

O'Brien attended the Drumfeehan National School in County Monaghan. From 1979 to 2003 he was a member of Monaghan County Council and served in this period from 1986 to 1987 as its chairman. Since 1989 he has been a senator in the Seanad Éireann for Fianna Fáil.

O'Brien is married and has four children, three sons and a daughter.
