Francisco Bográn

Francisco Barahona Bogran (* around 1852 in Pinalejo, Department of Santa Bárbara, † December 7, 1926 in New Orleans) was October 5, 1919 and January 31, 1920 President of Honduras.

Life

His parents were Saturnina Barahona Leiva and Saturnino Bogran Bonilla. He was married to Guillermina Leiva. Francisco Bogran was Doctor of Medicine and a member of the Partido Liberal de Honduras.

In the October 1911 presidential elections were conducted for the period from 1912 to 1916. Winner was Manuel Bonilla, his deputy was Bogran Francisco Barahona. A few days before taking office, handed Francisco Barahona Bogran on January 22, 1912 in his resignation. How was Francisco Bertrand Barahona vice president and later president.

As a result of the civil war in 1919 in Honduras Bogran was de facto president.
