Francky Sembolo

Francky Sembolo ( born August 9, 1985 in Nkayi, People's Republic of Congo ) is a Congolese football player.

Career

Francky Sembolo played at the beginning of his career in the Republic of Congo in Saint Michel d' Ouenzé. In 2006 he moved with his countryman and former teammate Patrick Mouaya to Germany. There he hired at FC Oberneuland and first played in the Oberliga Nord and after a climb in the Regionalliga Nord. For the season 2009/10 he moved to third division Holstein Kiel Movers and there wrote a contract until the summer of 2011. At the end of his contract in Kiel Sembolo moved in summer 2011 to SV Wilhelmshaven, in which he scored 18 goals in 27 games. Then he got in July 2012 a contract with the second division SSV Jahn Regensburg in which he had previously completed a trial. Sembolo was able to quickly establish in the team and completed a large part of the 32 games in which he was used, from the beginning. After the descent of Regensburg in 2013, he moved to East Westphalia to the second division promoted Arminia Bielefeld. There Sembolo signed a contract until 30 June 2015. On January 15, 2014 Sembolo was borrowed from Arminia for the return series to the third division Hallescher FC.

National

2005 debuted Sembolo in a World Cup qualifier against Liberia for the Republic of Congo. In 2008, he played his second international game, this time also in a FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the national team of Sudan. On 10 October 2010 Sembolo scored his first two international goals in a 3-1 victory to qualify for the African Cup of Nations 2012 against Swaziland.
