Franco Cavegn

Franco Cavegn ( born January 6, 1971 in Vella ) is a retired Swiss ski racer. In civilian life he is Spengler.

1991 brought Cavegn in Val Gardena than 27 first World Cup points. The season 2001 /02 with six finishes in the top ten and a third place in Kvitfjell the best year of his career.

On 10 December 2003, Cavegn drew in the Super -G in Beaver Creek a torn ACL to which heralded the end of his career. After a 58th and 43rd place in the following season he finished in October 2005 with 34 years of his career as a skier. Cavegn is involved in the ski manufacturer zai AG.
