Franco Dalla Valle

Franco Dalla Valle SDB ( born August 2, 1945 in Crespano del Grappa, Treviso, Italy Province; † August 2, 2007 in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil ) was an Italian religious priest, missionary and the first Bishop of Juína in Brazil.

Franco Dalla Valle put in the Congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco on 16 May 1963, the first profession on. From 1963 to 1967 was followed by the study of philosophy in Foglizzo, from 1969 to 1972 to study theology in Castellammare di Stabia. He received on 26 August 1972, the priestly ordination on the Colle Don Bosco. In 1963 he went to Brazil in the mission and worked in Ananindeua, in Manaus, in Porto Velho and Ji- Paraná. He was from 1990 to 1991 Novice Master, 1992-1997 Provincial.

On December 23, 1997, he was appointed by John Paul II, the first bishop of the newly established Diocese Juína in the state of Mato Grosso, in the interior of Brazil. He received his episcopal consecration John Paul II in Rome on 6 January 1998 itself was His motto " Evangelizar ". Franco Dalla Valle died in 2007 as the reigning bishop on his 62nd birthday at the following heart surgery.
