Franco Ferreiro

Franco Ferreiro ( born July 1, 1984 in Uruguaiana ) is a former Brazilian tennis player.

Career

Franco Ferreiro was a professional tennis player in 2002. From the beginning he played propagated in double, over time he became the doubles players - in a single, he plays very rare, at Grand Slam tournaments he could only qualify once (Roland Garros 2009). His first title on Futures level, he celebrated in Mexico in 2003, the first tournament win on the ATP Challenger Tour took place in 2005 in Turin. In 2010, Ferreiro increased its shape significantly and could total of eight titles on the Challenger Tour pick, five with his current partner master André Sá.

On the ATP tour took place in the 2011 season of the breakthrough with his compatriot Sá he reached in February in Buenos Aires his first ATP final; but the two documents the duo Oliver Marach / Leonardo Mayer. After this final participation Ferreiro reached number 53 his previous career high in doubles tennis world rankings. In August 2011, he arrived in Kitzbühel his second tour final, again on the side of André Sá; they lost just under the Italian- Mexican duo Daniele Bracciali / Santiago Gonzalez.
