Franco Jara

Franco Daniel Jara ( born July 15, 1988 in Villa María, Argentina) is an Argentine football player. He is currently under contract at SL Benfica, but he plays on loan for the Argentine San Lorenzo de Almagro.

Career

In the club

Jara comes from the youth of Arsenal de Sarandi and debuted in his professional career on 23 May 2008 with the defeat against Argentinos Juniors. His first goal scored Argentina's 10 April 2010 against CA Colón. During his time at Arsenal he graduated in the league 82 games and hit 11 times. His first international game he played in the Copa Sudamericana against the Honduran representative CD Motagua.

For the 2010/11 season he moved abroad when he went to Europe, and a five -year contract signed at Benfica.

The striker joined the 2011/12 season on loan for a year to FC Granada.

End of July 2012, it was announced that Jara for the 2012/13 season on loan leaves Europe and returns to Argentina to play for San Lorenzo de Almagro.

In the National Team

Jara was first nominated on January 19, 2010 for the A- team of Argentina for the match against Costa Rica. In the game, which ended 3-2 for Argentina, Jara scored his first goal, which at the same time meant the winning goal for his team.
