François Brottes

François Brottes ( born March 31, 1956 in Valence ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 1997 deputy.

Brottes completed after high school to study in socio-cultural animation, which he had previously financed by different jobs. After his graduation, he began in 1978 to work for Radio France and France 3. Later he first founded his own company and then worked in the management of a production company. Brottes who already joined as a 14- year-old of the Young Christian Workers and 1979, the Socialist Party, was elected in 1983 as deputy mayor of the municipality in the department of Isère Crolles. From 1992 to 1998 he represented the horsepower in the Regional Council of Rhône -Alpes region. This was followed in 1997 Elected to the fifth constituency of Isère. As such, it was 2002, 2007 and 2012, re-elected. Since 2005 he is also mayor of Crolles. In the National Assembly in February 2010 he is Deputy Chairman of the Group of Socialists and their allies.
