François Christophe Edmond de Kellermann

François -Edouard -Christophe Kellermann, duc de Valmy (* April 16, 1802 in Paris, † October 2, 1868 in Passy (Paris) ) was a French statesman and diplomat.

François -Edouard -Christophe Kellermann, Duke of Valmy, son of General Kellermann and grandson of Marshal Kellermann suggested, during the Restoration, a diplomatic career.

The Bourbons always very devoted, he joined in 1833 from from the civil service and was since then as a mainstay of the legitimist party in the press both in the chamber in which he was elected in 1842 by the Department of Toulouse. In 1848 he withdrew completely from political life.
