Françoise Grossetête

Françoise Grossetête ( born May 17, 1946 in Lyon) is a French politician of the Union pour un mouvement populaire.

Life

Grossetęte studied law and political science in Lyon. From 1969 to 1975 she worked as a university professor of jurisprudence. From 1983 to 2001, Grosse Tete a member of the city council of Saint- Étienne. Since 2001 she has been Deputy Mayor of Saint- Étienne. Grossetęte since 1994 Member of the European Parliament.

Activities as an MEP

Grossetęte is in the Group of the European People's Party and a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, in the Delegation for relations with the countries of Central America and the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. As a deputy she's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and the Delegation for relations with Australia and New Zealand.
