Frank (comics)
Frank is a comic book series by Jim Woodring.
The eponymous main character Frank first appeared in the comic series JIM, which also comes from Woodring. It acts with Frank to an anthropomorphic ( humanized ) animal of unknown species, the most experienced surrealistic adventure in the wordless comics. 2001, the series was nominated for an Ignatz Award ( the award was not at that time because of the terrorist attacks of September 11, but instead ).
The series published by Fantagraphics Books in the United States. The Frank Book in 2003 for an Ignatz Award ( for Outstanding Graphic Novel or Collection) and 2004 for an Eisner Award ( in the category Best Graphic Album - Reprint) nominated.
In Germany, published from 1995 to 1999 five Frank booklets with Jochen Enterprises.
