Frank Cowell

Frank A. Cowell is Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science ( LSE). He conducts research in the areas of income and wealth distribution, inequality, poverty and taxation.

After visiting the Ardingly College in Sussex, he studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he graduated with a BA after and M. A. his PhD in economics made ​​. For a short time Cowell lectured in economics at the University of Keele, before joining the LSE in 1977. From 1988 to 2001 he was there also associate editor of the Journal of Public Economics.

Cowell is the editor and co-editor of Economica Hacienda Pública Española both the / Revista de Economía Publica as well as the Journal of Income Inequality.
