Frank Hammerschlag

Frank hammer ( born September 28, 1960) is a former German football player.

From the youth of Bayer 05 Uerdingen arise, the defender his football career began at the 1 FC Viersen in the Oberliga Nordrhein before 1982 league rivals FC Bocholt first joined. There he was Niederrhein Cup winner and took over as vice-champion of the league participated in the German amateur championship. In the summer of 1983 he moved into professional football for MSV Duisburg. In the Duisburg relegation 1985/86 season he joined before the winter break, the league rivals Tennis Borussia Berlin, with which he, however, also took a relegation place. Then he moved to SC Fortuna Köln. Frank Hammerschlag graduated in the years 1983 to 1987 a total of 118 games in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring seven goals. In 1994 he took over the Rheydter SV also as coach.
