Frank-Hann-Nationalpark

The Frank Hann National Park (English Frank Hann National Park ) is a 676 km ² national park in the region Goldfields - Esperance in the south west of Western Australia, Australia. The park is located 100 km north of Raventhorpe and is from Brookton Highway in Lake King can be reached via gravel roads .. It is part of the Local Area Gouvernment Shire of Lake Grace.

History

Its name goes back to Frank Hann, an Australian explorer who explored the area in 1901.

Flora

The park protects the inland cities and sandy plains with their typical heath and scrubland. In many areas with deeper sandy soils Mallee is found as the dominant vegetation type.

Eucalyptus species are found spread here: Eucalyptus gracilis, Eucalyptus eremophila, pileata Eucalyptus, Eucalyptus and Eucalyptus longicornis foecunda.
