Frank Johnson Goodnow

Frank Johnson Goodnow (born 18 January 1859 in Brooklyn, † November 15, 1939 ) was an American law and political scientists. Goodnow was 1903/ 04 the first president of the American Political Science Association (APSA ) and also in 1914 as the successor of Ira Remsen third president of the Johns Hopkins University. Since 1996 he is awarded in honor of the APSA the Frank J. Goodnow Award for outstanding contributions to political science.
