Frank Löffler

Frank Loeffler ( born August 9, 1980 in Immenstadt ), is a former German ski jumper.

Career

Loeffler had in the 1998/99 season his first appearance in the World Cup and was considered one of the greatest talents. In the German Cup 2002 in Winterberg Löffler was German champion on the normal hill.

At the beginning of the season 2003/04 season Löffler practiced with his teammates Michael Möllinger criticism of the Hunger methods of the then national coach Wolfgang Steiert. The tip of the DSV threw Löffler then before lack of suitability as a competitive athlete. Although after a discussion Löffler DSV offered a return to the team, finished his career this 2004. Loeffler came in his career on 49 World Cup starts.

Löffler's grandfather is the ski jumper Sepp Weiler.
