Frank Luntz

Frank Luntz ( born February 23, 1962 in West Hartford ) is an American pollster and political consultant.

Biography

Frank Luntz erwarn at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science and erwarn a PhD in political science at Oxford University. Luntz is a leading pollster and advisor to a number of conservative and Republican candidates (especially Newt Gingrich, Rudolph Giuliani, Michael Bloomberg, Silvio Berlusconi, the British Tories, Ross Perot, Pat Buchanan and George W. Bush) as well as large corporations known. In 1992 he founded the Luntz Research Companies.

He works mainly with focus groups to explore policy issues, assess the reactions of citizens and non-slip design messages for business and politics. One focus of his work is the elaboration of discursive tactics. He found that " climate change" ( engl. climate change) sounds harmless than "global warming " ( engl. global warming ), or that "tax relief" ( engl. tax relief ) arrives better than " tax cuts " (English tax cuts ). On behalf of the Republicans, he also developed the strategy that the planned significant reduction of Medicare by $ 270 billion as a rescue of Medicare ("save Medicare " ) for framing.
