Frank Mockler

Career

About Frank Mockler, there is very little useful sources. He must have studied law and was a legal representative of the Fremont County. He was also a deputy in the House of Representatives from Wyoming, and in 1951 also president of the chamber of parliament. Later he served under Governor John Morse Haydon as Secretary of State of Samoa, which included the office of lieutenant governor. Between 15 October 1974 and February 6, 1975 he was appointed acting governor of the territory. He bridged the period between the departure of Governor Haydon and the inauguration of his successor, Earl B. Ruth.

After the end of his time as governor Frank Mockler moved to Longboat Key in Florida. About his future, nothing is handed down. It is only noted that he died on 16 November 1993.
