Frank Moser (tennis)

Frank Moser ( born September 23, 1976 in Baden -Baden ) is a German tennis player.

Career

Moser is active primarily as a doubles specialist. So he stood with changing partners so far 26 times in the finals of a Challengerturniers. With 13 wins to 13 defeats its balance sheet is balanced. On the ATP Tour, he has so far reached the finals three times. In 2009 he moved with Benjamin Becker to the finals in Los Angeles, but it lost to the Bryan brothers Mike and Bob with 4:6 and 6:72. Together with Matthias Bachinger he failed in Atlanta in July 2011. Using 6:3, 5:7 and 8:10, they lost to Alex Bogomolov Jr. and Matthew Ebden. In 2012 he was able to reach the final of San Jose along with Kevin Anderson in February. But even in his third final, which took place as the other two on U.S. soil, it was his first ATP title just failed. It was not until 2013, again in San Jose, Frank Moser was able to celebrate his first title on the ATP World Tour. With Xavier Malisse in the final, he defeated Marinko Matosevic and Lleyton Hewitt in three sets.
