Frank R. Pfetsch

Frank R. Pfetsch ( born September 2, 1936 in Karlsruhe ) is a German political scientist.

Frank Pfetsch studied the subjects of economics and political science. It was established in 1965 his doctoral thesis on the development of the fascist leader state in the political philosophy of Robert Michels in Heidelberg. There was also his habilitation thesis on the topic for the development of science policy in Germany: 1750-1914. Subsequently, he worked in research institutions and in the former Federal Ministry for Scientific Research and a consultant to UNESCO in various countries of Asia. From 1976 to 2003 he taught until his retirement in Political Science in Heidelberg.
