Frank " Wuschi " Rohde, ( born March 2, 1960 in Rostock ) is a former German football player and current football coach. He was until the fall of 2004 Coach of the third division FC Chemnitz.
Frank Rohde learned how his three older brothers the football game from 1966 to 1969 at the SG Dynamo Rostock Center, where his father was a youth leader. In 1969, the father was transferred as a youth leader for Berliner FC Dynamo, the son of then also was a member until 1990. In 1974, Frank Rohde then his three brothers on the children 's and youth sports school " Werner soul ties " in Berlin- Hohenschonhausen. After his league debut in the 1979/80 season he was with the capital club nine times GDR champion and won twice (1988 and 1989 ) the fdgb Cup. A total of 200 league games played Rohde, in which he scored 11 goals. When BFC Rohde also managed the leap into the GDR national team, for whom he played 42 international matches 1984-1989. His only goal in the jersey of the national team he succeeded on October 10, 1984 in Aue during the international match of the German Democratic Republic against Algeria. After the reunification of Germany Rohde joined the Hamburger SV. Between 1990 and 1993 he played 103 games in the Bundesliga. Since the end of his career as an active player in 1995 Rohde works as a football coach. Between 1995 and 1997 he managed the regional league Reinickendorfer foxes. In January 1998 he moved to league rivals FC Sachsen Leipzig, where he remained until May 1999. He then coached the Oberliga side Eintracht Oranienburg and was from the June 18, 2003 Head Coach at Chemnitz FC, where he was fired during the season 2004/ 05. After another as a trainer at the Brandenburg association division Eintracht Oranienburg he cared for since 2010, playing in the Brandenburg - League SV Falkensee - Finkenkrug.
Rohde is married and has a daughter and a son.
