Frank Siebeck

Frank Siebeck ( born August 17, 1949 in Schkeuditz ) is a German track and field athlete and Olympian, who - starting for the GDR - was the late 1960s and in the 1970s, a successful 110-meter hurdler. His most significant success is the victory at the European Championships 1971 in 14.0 s, for which he was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit. After his departure from active competitive sports, a coach training and a study of sport pedagogy has worked as a physical education teacher at the Leipzig Anton Philipp Reclam - school Frank Siebeck today. His son Mark Siebeck (* 1975) is volleyball player selection.
