Frank Stapleton

Frank Anthony Stapleton (* July 10, 1956 in Dublin ) is a former Irish football player.

Life and career

Stapleton began his career at Arsenal. Earlier, the Irishman tried already at Manchester United, which Stapleton to London " abschoben ". In 1972 he came to the English. He made his debut in 1975 against Stoke City. With Arsenal, he won the 1979 FA Cup, which was his only title at the Gunners. Two years later he transferred for £ 900,000 to Manchester United.
