Frank van Borssele

Frank II of Borsselen ( Dutch: Frank van Borssele ) (* probably in 1396, † November 19, 1470 in Den Briel ) was a high Zeeland nobleman.

Life

He was governor of Holland and Zealand, but is best known as the fourth husband of Countess Jacoba of Holland and Zeeland. He was the son of Floris of Borsselen and Oda von Bergen, lord of Sint Maartensdijk, Scherpenisse (both today districts of Tholen ) and Zuylen, and the last legitimate representative of the younger branch of the family Borsselen.
