Frankeneck
Frankeneck is a municipality in the district of Bad Durkheim in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Lambrecht (Pfalz ).

Geographical location
The municipality is located in the Palatinate Forest at the confluence of Speyerbach and Hochspeyerbach.
History
The community was founded in 1785.
Religions
2013 were 41.0 percent of the population Protestant and 29.6 percent Catholic. The other belonged to a different religion or no religious affiliation were.

The local council in Frankeneck consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 of personalized proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Coat of arms
The blazon of the arms is: " A blue wave drawbar, top right in red a floating blue ax with a golden handle, top left in red a floating blue forest sickle hook with golden stem, bottom in silver a blaubereifte red vat with silver content, before standing a red Rührsieb. "
It was established in 1951 approved by the Mainz Ministry of Interior. The figures are reminiscent of the founding of the church as woodcutters village.
Community partnerships
With Tenbury Wells in Britain and Le Thuits (Le Thuit- Signol, Le Thuit- Anger, Le Thuit- Simer ) in France partnerships are maintained.
Culture and sights
In Frankeneck the museum railway " Kuckucksbähnel ", which runs from Lambrecht after Elmstein holds. There is also a paper maker and museum with details about the local history and the development of the local paper industry.
The TV Frankeneck offers soccer and gymnastics at, and there is since 1892 the club friendship in which only men can become members of the glee club and numerous other clubs.
