The Bahnhof Frankfurt- Griesheim is a major operating station for the rail transport in Frankfurt am Main and a passenger station. Here begins, about five kilometers west of the reception building, the large and up to 600 meter wide track ahead of the Frankfurt central station.

The station was established in 1877 by the Hessian Ludwig Railway on the Main -Lahn -Bahn in the north of the town center Griesheim. In 1968, the still existing station building.
