The breakpoint is served by the S- Bahn lines S1 and S2. The access to public transport meets the bus line 59 stops Nied station / Lotzstraße and Nied station / cemetery. Also at the two stops keeps n8 Night bus.

The lines S1 and S2 operate typically at 30- minute intervals and off-peak time every hour, so that combined a continuous 15 - or 30 -minute intervals results. Both lines are amplified at rush hour by so-called short pendulum, the coming not to drive on the City Tunnel from the West, but already end at the main station. The line S1 is further enhanced during the lunch time by such trains. Thus, during the day there is a thick stroke of six trains per hour - in the rush hour as many as eight trains per hour - that combine alternating every five or ten minutes Nied with the main station. The journey time to the city center is about ten minutes.
