Frankie Boyle

Francis Martin Patrick Boyle ( born August 16, 1972 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish comedian. He was known for his appearances on the British TV comedy show Mock the Week.

Life

Boyle was born in Glasgow, the youngest of three children. After he had finished his schooling in Glasgow, he entered the first time as a comedian in appearance when in 1996 he the Daily Telegraph Open Mic award won. In the whole of the UK, he became known for his regular appearances on the broadcast by BBC Two comedy show Mock the Week, until he left this 2009. Since 2008 he also wrote a column until 2009 in the Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, but he gave up because it was forbidden to publish jokes about Michael Jackson. Currently, he writes for The Sun.

Boyle lives in his native city, together with his partner and their two children.
