Frankie Gómez

Frankie Gomez ( born February 4, 1992, Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, California) is an American boxer. Vice world champion 2009 in the light welterweight.

Amateur career

Career

Frankie Gomez, who is a resident of East Los Angeles, began at age six with the boxes. He proved to be extremely talented and joined the boxing club LAPD PAL Los Angeles. He is trained by Ronnie Rivota.

As an American junior champion ( Cadets ) it was used at the 2007 World Youth Championship ( Cadets = age group up to 16 years ) in Baku. In 2010, Frankie Gomez was a professional boxer. His manager is Hector Ibarra. He denied on April 3, 2010 in Las Vegas at the Light Welterweight his first professional fight, defeating it his American compatriot Clayvonne Howard by techn. KO i.d. 3rd round. He also won his subsequent fights. His last fight he initially denied on January 14, 2011 in Indio, California. He edged the Mexican Jose Alfredo Lugo over six rounds by unanimous decision. Gomez is very carefully constructed and contested as a professional yet no championship fight.
