Franklin (crater)

Franklin is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front. It is located southeast of Cepheus and northwest of Berzelius. The interior of the crater has broken structures and the rest of a central mountain, the terraced walls are badly eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the American politician and inventor Benjamin Franklin.
