Franklin Farrell

Franklin Farrell III ( born March 23, 1908 in Ansonia, Connecticut, † July 2, 2003 in North Branford, Connecticut) was an American professional ice hockey goaltender and 1932 Olympian.

Career

Franklin Farrell attended for four years, Yale University, for their hockey team he played in parallel for four years. Then played the goalkeeper amateur hockey for the St. Nicholas Hockey Club, before he took over the family business.

Internationally

For the U.S., Farrell took part in the 1932 Olympics in Lake Placid, where he won the silver medal with his team.
