Frankmusik

Frank Vincent (born 9 October 1985 in London ), known as Frankmusik is an English electropop musician and DJ.

Frank comes from the south of London, from Croydon, and had his first success as a beatboxer by the name of Mr Mouth. After leaving school, he studied at St Martin's College and the London College of Fashion and canceled both times to finally focus on the music.

With David Nordland he founded the label Apparent Records, where he released his first EP Frankisum in autumn 2007. This Universal / Iceland Records became aware of him and took him under contract. The following year, his second EP 3 Little Words, as well as his debut single in Step appeared. In addition, he also created remixes for Alphabeat ( Fascination, 10,000 Nights ), Mika ( Relax ) and the Pet Shop Boys ( Love etc.).

Then his debut album was prepared in 2009 and produced in association with Stuart Price. Frankmusik came as a promising newcomer on the short list for the famous Sound of 2009 forecast of the BBC. The originally planned for March album release has been postponed, but the single Better Off As Two reached in April for the first time the UK charts. For this he was alone and with Alphabeat, Sam Sparro and Keane on tour. Before the release of the album Complete Me beginning of August 2009 in advance appeared the single Confusion Girl, which was his second UK Top 40 hit.
