Frans Mahn

Frans Mahn (* June 24, 1933 in Amsterdam, † March 26, 1995 in Hoofddorp ) was a Dutch cyclist.

1953 won the Ronde van Limburg Frans Mahn. In 1956 he won in Ballerup near Copenhagen, the title of the road world champion of amateurs. In 1957 he won in eight van Chaam. After a bad fall at a " fair race," he focused on the track cycling; 1966 and 1967 he became Dutch champion in the sprint after he had previously been three times in the third years.

From 1969 to Mahn was twelve years of Dutch railway coach. In 1988, he became ill with cancer and spent the last years of his life in a wheelchair.
