Franz Gerber

Franz Gerber ( born November 27, 1953 in Munich) is a former football player, coach and manager.

Player

After a year in the youth club TSV Eching Gerber joined in 1964 in the youth department of FC Bayern Munich, where he remained until 1971. For the 1971/72 season he was a member of the First Team and was coached by Udo Lattek on 15 April 1972 ( 28th Round ) - in 69 minutes off the bench for Wilhelm Hoffmann - in a 3-1 win at home against Hannover 96 its debut in the top division.
