Franz Handlos
Franz Handlos ( born December 9, 1939 in Rusel, † June 10 2013 in the rain) was a German lawyer, publisher, journalist and politician (CSU, REP, FVP, FDP ). He was a member of the Bavarian Landtag (1970-1972) and the German Bundestag ( 1972-1982 ). Handlos was a founding member of the Republicans (1983) and the Freedom Party ( 1985). From 1983 to 1985 he was chairman of the party of the Republicans.
Life
After graduation in 1960 at the Humanist Gymnasium in parish churches, he did his military service in the Bundeswehr. His last rank was lieutenant of the reserve. He studied Political Science (Diploma) and law ( state examinations ). He was also a volunteer at the Passau Neue Presse and the Münchner Merkur. In 1966, he was domestic political editor at the Münchner Merkur.
In 1974 he bought the estate of the later farmhouse museum Lindberg, which opened in 1975. In 1978 he founded the magazine Beautiful Bavarian Forest, which he self-published. He also worked as a travel writer in Spain and Chairman of the Tourism Working Group Bavarian Forest.
Party
Handlos was until 1979 a member of the weir Policy Working Group of the CSU.

Franz Handlos made about 20 oral contributions as a member of the Republican Party.
