Franz Merkhoffer

Franz Merkhoffer ( born November 29, 1946 in Dettum ) is a former German football player.

He played as a defender in the 1st Bundesliga for Eintracht Braunschweig, there was used from 1968 to 1984 a total of 419 times, scoring 22 goals. He is 1.79 m tall and weighed 78 kg in his playing days. To Eintracht Braunschweig he came in 1967. Previously, he played for the MTV Dettum and the amateurs of Hamburger SV.
