Franz Michael Vierthaler

Four Franz Michael Thaler ( born September 25, 1758 in Wall churches, Upper Austria, † October 3, 1827 in Vienna) was an educator and school reformer, writer and journalist.

Four Thaler 1790 the first director of the first teachers' college in the German language in Salzburg. Four Thaler developed teaching methods and principles, and wrote textbooks and children's books. In 1800 he took over the editorship and management of Salzburg intelligence sheet, the state newspaper of Salzburg and the literary journal of Salzburg.

The Four Thaler lane facility in Vienna was named after him in 1894.
