Franz Nicklisch

Franz Friedrich Nicklisch ( born March 8, 1906 in Hasserode; † December 6, 1975 in Berlin) was a German actor and voice actor.

Biography

After attending the Higher Commercial School Nicklisch graduated from 1926 to 1927 the theater school of the Deutsches Theater Berlin. In 1928 he was at the State Theatre hall in Friedrich Hebbel's Gyges as Gyges and his ring his stage debut. This was followed theatrical engagements in Halle, Thale / Harz and Berlin ( State Theatre under Gustav Gründgens, Deutsches Theater Hebbel am Ufer, Castle Park and Schiller Theater ). He initially played roles predominantly in the compartment of the youthful hero and lover, and later character roles as Lennie in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men ( Castle Park Theatre under Boleslaw Barlog ) and the Swiss Schiller's Robbers. Franz Nicklisch was married to fellow actress Ursula Meissner, with whom he had a son, Andreas Nicklisch ( journalist and senior UN officials ). His brother was a writer (including Best Play Our Father ) worked.

It rests on the forest cemetery Zehlendorf, next to his brother.
