Franz Ningel

Ningel Franz ( born October 18, 1936 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse ) is a former German roller skaters and figure skaters, who started pair skating.

As a single runner in artistic roller skating, he was in 1956 and 1957 each world and European champions. He was also with Marika Kilius 1955-1957 German champion in artistic roller skating couples.

Marika Kilius was also his first figure skating partner. With her ​​Ningel was from 1955 to 1957 German champion in pair skating. During the same period, the couple took three times at European Championships and won there, in Budapest, Paris and Vienna, always the bronze medal. At World Championships Ningel and Kilius won two medals. 1956 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen she won bronze in 1957 in Colorado Springs, they were runner-up behind the Canadians Barbara Wagner and Robert Paul.
