Franz Pomassl

Franz Pomassl (* 1966 in Eisenbergeramt ) is an Austrian sound artist, musician, DJ and label owner. His works can be assigned to the electronic music.

Life

Franz Pomassl studied from 1989 to 1991 with Arnulf Rainer painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and from 1991 to 1992 also at the Academy the technical basics of painting with Franz Graf. From 1991, he also studied electroacoustic and experimental music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. 1995 was followed by a degree in New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and then in 1996 to study at the University Zokei.

As of 1992, presented Pomassl first exhibitions and intermedia projects, including silicone Planet and Time Based Bar (1992 ), Vienna Today ( 1993), Monitor 93 ( 1993), and simulation Room Mosaic Soundscape (1993).
